Job Description Habilitation Technition I and II: Under general direction and supervision of the Support Supervisor/Programs Director, performs a variety of work consisting of personal care of developmentally disabled adults including: bathing, incontinence care, dressing, grooming, exercising, medication administration, ambulation, and transportation to programs, community events, and doctor appointments. Light housekeeping including: cooking, laundering, and cleaning. Accurate daily documentation of client's condition, medical requirements, and progress.

All shifts are available (6:00A.M. - 2:00P.M. or 2:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. or 10:00P.M. - 6:00A.M.) Monday through Friday and weekends.  Full-time or part-time  Click here to see more detailed job specifications.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Patient and understanding
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
  • Arizona Drivers License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Verify Good Driving Record
  • College Degree, High School Diploma or Copy of GED Certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Be available by home phone, cell phone, or pager for easy access by agency personnel.
  • Able to work flexible schedules: weekends, nights, days, evenings, partial shifts 8/12/16 hours shifts.
  • Able to operate common office equipment and have basic computer skills including word processing.
Helpful, but not required to be hired:

Valid, up to date First Aid and CPR certification
Current Article 9 and CIT 1 & 2 certification
